Facilities The overwater villas snake away from the main island along a winding
walkway past the Gathering, the central point of the resort with
restaurants and bars and a choice of places to sit. There’s a gym, spa, a
children’s den although a much larger stand alone one is planned, and
there’s also the largest observatory in the entire Maldives with a
resident astronomer who will illuminate the night sky as you dine. Guests can choose between bikes or a golf buggy to reach the tennis
court and deserted beaches of the main island while a small speed boat
shuttles between the four untouched islands in the lagoon.
Cinema Paradio at Soneva Jani (Soneva Jani)
At the far end of the main island past the organic garden and beyond
the screw pine and banana trees, Cinema Paradiso is an overwater,
open-air cinema and bar where guests are given bluetooth headphones to
